Nice to see Sean Houlihan ride El Rojo Grande to win at Lingfield today as it was Sean who saved the horse from drowning at Newton Abbot back in April 2023 when he fell and slid into a steep banked water filled ditch running by the side of the course. Sean saw that the horse was in trouble and jumped into the ditch and held his head out of the water for many minutes until the horse could be extracated from the ditch.
