Epsom Dash

A piece of form that caught my eye was at Epsom on 24th April. It involved Ajjaadd and my selectiion La Fortunata. The latter was very unlucky beaten a shd having hung left ending near the far rail. They pulled a length clear of the third. Both horses are entered to run in the Dash, but in the bigger event you'd have to fancy La Fortunata, racing off a mark of 90 on Saturday, (Ajjaadd will carry 9 pound more on a mark of 99). I think La Fortunata will give supporters a great run from the front and will be hard to pass...

Coronation Cup

I'll be taking St Nic on with Joshua Tree. Former Ballydoyle horse who improved significantly last year and can surely only improve as a six year old. With Ryan Moore booked to ride will surely start shorter than 10/1 on the day. I think he's nailed on for a place, so 10/1 a good bet. He's stay further and I fancy he could make St Nic work hard for victory. I can't suss out Dunaden, and whilst Dunaden might not be ungenuine, I think Joshua Tree has more chance of beating the odds-on fav than Dunaden.

Good luck to everyone going on Saturday and have a nice day.

Dunaden needs a long straight over 12f as he takes time to unwind. He had that at Meydan but was too far back to land a blow.

Yes Barry!

And 10-1 a huge price for a horse I can't get out the first two...

Duke Of Firenze showed he had the speed for the Epsom Dash when travelling well and winning cosily in a fast run race down Goodwood's sharp 5f.
Hit his head exiting the stalls at York and nothing went right for him afterwards. Much better than that form and a plum draw just puts icing on the cake.

1.35. ST PAUL DE VENCE

Will improve this step up in trip..is too big at 11.0

I've got that race down to him, High Troja and Pasaka Boy..... Cole's horses seem to be running well this year and he should improve. Dunlops horse looks an improver too.
