Yes it was awful. Ironically Josh had the winner of the next too but I heard he hadn't wanted to go out an ride again (he wasn't on Sixteen Letters as it had been a Ladies race)
Actually the weather really wasn't too bad - you should have gone! Only started raining about the 5th race. The Bradstocks won the opener with Southfield Lily when the jockey on Scoresby which should have won in a canter was too busy showboating and got unseated - idiot! Anyway I spoke to Sarah Bradstock about Southfield Theatre and she said he's so grumpy if he isn't in full training and going racing.

Didn't realise you went pointing! Do you go to Milborne St Andrew too? Next meeting there is on 22nd March. I will be there reporting so if you do, come and say hi. In fact I am usually at Badbury (I wear a Go Pointing jacket so easily identifiable)
