Let's say I'm using the LOOKUP query to insert data into a number of cells to complete a chart. If I want to send this file to someone who needs it in text/general format is there a way for me to convert my file before I send it?

Copy all data and select Paste Special, then paste as values. Is this what you are asking?

Nearly! The file is odds based. On my file the odds are expressed in decimals when I paste they are appearing as 1.5 rather than 1/2. Any way around this?

Yep - highlight all cells you want to appear as fractions, right click, select format cells, then fraction, then choose which fraction you would like.

I still don't quite have it. If I have odds formatted as general and I paste special them to another column to be formatted as ??/?? (i.e as decimals)?

No, odds should be formatted as fractions (right click, click format cells, then fractions, then select how you want them to appear). When you are copy and pasting them elsewhere having done this, just paste normal, not special. does this work?

But you see when you have them formatted as ??/?? it recognises 13/8 as 2.625 etc.

Thanks. I wish I was an excel expert. I've seen so seriously impressive betting related tools that people have written.
