Thoughts?

He's been put away for the season and will be racing out of BD next season (although Manfredini will remain a co-owner). Botti is "sad to see him go" although I should imagine that having two yearling colts from Coolmore sent to him to train should take the sting out a bit.

With Frankel moving up to 10f and Goldikova and CC being retired connections will try to take advantage of the situation in next years mile division.

Ballydoyle is loaded once again in the older division next year with Await The Dawn, SYT, St Nic, Treasure Beach etc

Excelebration already top class and improving through the season,
Frankel is the key to him but other than that I dont see 135 horses around

Very interesting recruit and with the retirements and likely step up for Frankel there doesn't seem to be much strength in depth in the older brigade over a mile. May turn out a very shrewd purchase.
With the half share arrangements recently - is this done to secure the stud services at Coolmore or to widen the ownership spread in the organisation or both?
