I've only been in England less than a month, but it's already readily apparent that everyone between the ages of 15 and 40 is obsessed with Facebook. From setting up meetings to poring over drunken pictures, it seems to be taking over text (forget regular phone calls!) as the preferred means of communication.
I don't have an account (though I do have a Bebo account that I never use these days) but may have to be forced into setting one up (I hate feeling left out! )
I read not too long back that Facebook's European headquarters are in Dublin, which is ironic considering it hasn't caught on in Ireland to anywhere near the extent it has on the UK.
