A nice roughie yesterday and my best bet won easily.
11h55 Whiffler's Joy 16/1 Now he has come from durban centre and has run 2 local races which were good. One iver 1000m and other 1300m. He has run to stronger in durban and loves the poly, plus he gets a 4kg appie claim. Ryanair is the danger here and could win if not slow away but these would be good forecast play reversed plys each way on my selection.
12h30 Aliprod 11/2 Now this horse had a good debut but then fluffed his lines the last 2, but he was not striding on both occasions. He now gets the head gear on and with booking of greg cheyne I am hoping he can win. Turn It Up Harvey is costly to follow and keeps finding something to beat him and Upper Ten is a filly taken in the boys. Both of them can win but I just think my selection had excuses and can beat the other 2.
13h05 Frankie Two Shoes 11/2 Another that comes from durban and has run to stronger and has been on the poly. She has had 3 goodish runs and seems to be improving. She has dropped 5 points in ratings and expect her to go one better here. Humour Me 20/1 if was not for poor draw I would have selected him, keep an eye out for this outsider as he gets the 4kg appie claim again.
13h40 Seattle Mermaid 7/2 4 time course/distance winner. Last 2 starts had excuses where she ran stone last. 3 wins in a row before that and I am expecting her to run well here. Fav Sugar Gum is a 3yr old and will find it difficult to beat her older rivals unless she is under rated.
14h15 Teofilia 5/4 BEST BET. Good draw today and this gelding was rated a 80 in november and is currently a 67. Is consistent and he looks well in here. I actually have Casual Wear the mare to beat her when first looking at the card but has lost her form a bit. I have her to run 2nd here with 4kg appie claim.
14h45 Kimberley Star 7/4 She is consistent and now going over 1400m I expect her to win. 9 starts, 2 wins, 5 2nds and 3rd and 4th. She is 6kg better with Hooves Of Troy and 1.5kg better with Earth Hour. Dubula is my 2nd choice has he is improving.
