In the Cheltenham Week thread I mentioned that my group go to Cheltenham on Monday and leave after racing on Friday. We leave then for various reasons but mainly because we are knackered by that time. We stay in a house in Prestbury that has 4 double bedrooms plus the capacity for up 4 additional beds ( mattresses really) , the latter used when my sons and their uni. mates/workmates come down.
Superb facilities, a massive seemingly unending breakfast ( homemade bread and all local produced food) and the company of two incredible hosts. They even provide transport to and from the course which is useful if the footpath is impassible.
Our departure means that the rooms are free on Friday night. All in cost (except transport-( £5 per trip/car) is £100 ppn.
If anyone would like to stay on and go into town on the Friday or enjoy the pubs in Prestbury please PM me and I’ll provide contact details.
