Just looking at the lineup for the first day.
MTOY 7/4
Simonsig 8/11
Hurricane fly 11/8
Quevega 4/6

How many of these win here? I'm torn between one and two.Ill go two.looking like the first day is going to have quite a baring on the prices for the week maybe moreso than normal.
 
What is the obsession with Overturn beating Simonsig? If anything he's the perfect opponent for Simonsig. He's the biggest banker on day one, he's one horse to beat.
 
It's all down to ground for me.if it dries up then overturn will give it all to do.Overturns jumping has really impressed me also.If the ground is soft it'll be a procession for Simonsig.Maybe some people are hanging on to the fact that Simonsig could be prone to a jumping mistake.Personally I'm on Overturn at 8s and 6s.
 
I would fancy Une Aetiste to give Quevega a race.It's a massive ask to win any race five years in a row.
 
I've backed Jezki at a prices but think MTOY will win
Something tells me Simonsig will probably win.
I have Grandouet and Zarkander ahead of the fly.
I'm thinking something will beat Quevega,I know not what.
 
of the last 30 horses Willie Mullins sent out half of them won so he's in some sort of form. I certainly wouldn't back anything ro beat Quevega but Hurricane Fly I'd oppose this looks much tougher than the Champion He won. Can't really see Overturn beating Simonsig but I'd be concerend about MTOY finding if something takes him off the bridle.....that's a big if though so I'll go for 3 or maybe 2, no make it 3 or maybe it'll be.........fooked if I know:confused:
 
The fly wins that's for sure. Of the others I'd probably give quevega the best chance. The nature of the supreme means MTOY could be caught by an improved, and im just not convinced with Simonsig. Have a sneaky suspicion Fago could spoil the party.

Interesting. So no Arkle runner for Nicholls. Probably the right call, give the horse that bit more time at his fences given he fell lto.

Turning into a nice little race the Jewson if Fago and Dynaste line up alongside Captain Conan, Aupcharlie and Module.
