After three days working and degenerate nose bleed stakes punting I'm worn out. If Rolling Star wins the first tomorrow I might get a second win but I'm close to punting exhaustion. The handicaps would make your head hurt.

Your stanima is clearly lacking ;)

I thought you'd be well up. I'm still ahead, day in the pub tomorrow, looking forward to it.

A day off would have helped. They're asking a lot of their ponies to do a 4 day stint of backing the right ones and stopping customers doing likewise

I think maybe I'm just drained from not getting the double up for €1.6k on Cue Card and the 3rd in the charity race

Degenerate!

Will it help if I say that my feet REALLY hurt??? Flat boots for me tomorrow.....

and even with the help you gave me - definately my " I like that one, he look naughty" method of picking horses is the way to go - wouldnt have looked twice at Big Shu !!!!

By the time of the last race tomorrow I'll be pissed so the final total won't matter much! Going into the last day up is better than where I was this time last year....

I say this every year but I can't do this much longer. I got back Tuesday night and had to ask a neighbour for a spare key because mine was hidden in my inside pocket.

Each morning it's going to be a non drinking day... and then I get out of bed.

Same as others, two good days followed by a bad day so Salsify will be carrying more than his alloted weight.

Every morning I say I won't go to the pub to unwind. Last night I didn't and I still woke up shattered. Those that go for the 4 days must be out of their minds by Day 4.

Wrecked...blown away this year.
All form seems to mean feck all in the big races

I've taken this one fairly easy. I did the first three day's cards on Monday in one sitting, generally avoiding the handicaps and the crapshoots. I've then watched the races at home, in pubs, bars, bookies or occasionally listend live on the radio and then caught a replay. This was me an hour before the tapes went up on the NH Chase:

I've had a good week too, two or three winners every day so far and a couple of near misses that would have left my wallet bursting. I'm going into today in a no-lose position, which is a good job as I'm struggling with today's card. Train to York to find a RacingUK pub shortly...

I'm knackered and I've had a **** meeting. Way too much fecking about with doubles (even ante post ones - what was I thinking??)

Slowboarding. For shame :nono:

:D

I fancy giving Skiing a go. To be fair, if it is going up or down a mountain, fast or slow, then I'm up for it.

Id offer to teach you, but Im REALLY **** at skiing (did enjoy it though, im sure these days its on my list of "things im not allowed to do" though :( )- as for snowboarding - the thought of strapping both my feet to one bit of wood just doesnt work at all - I can barely control myself with skis let alone both legs strapped together...

White Horse in Bootham, then moved on to O'Neills.

Three bets, three winners so far. Bookies must be taking a hammering today.

SDC, with a saver on SC. Then bank the lot ahead of a tickle on Raise The Beat tonight.

Well that's the plan. Beer is flowing now...
