This afternoon whilst channel hopping I came across a race at Cagnes-Sur-Mer (sp?) on ATR, one particular owner Jean-Paul Seneschal had the first FOUR home in a Hurdle race - t hanks in part to a jockey on a Mulryan horse riding so short that when the horse made a mistake at the last (would have been second at worst) he had no option but the side door.

Has this ever happened in the UK or Ireland? I know we've had the trainers doing it but what's the best an owner has managed?

Coolmore have had 1-2-3 home in Group 1 races before...

Think I remember O'Brien having a 1-2-3-4-5 in one of the big sales races when he was starting out.

I don't know about owners who have done this, but the the first four home in the St Leger of 1818 were all bred by the same man, Henry Peirse.

However, he only actually owned the winner and second. Coincidentally, they were all sired by the same stallion, Comus (not owned by Peirse)
