First "Good Thing" of Cheltenham Week

First good thing of the week for me is still being on time (at the moment except now I'm talking to you lot!) on my way to dropping the wondermare off to build us a champion chaser....

Did anyone see Lee Mottershead's 'writing' today? Read the first few paragraphs, it is dreadful English.

I think I am right in saying (though I am happy to be corrected) that Lee used to contribute articles to http://www.famousracehorses.co.uk/ - they were really, really bad IMO. I was amazed to see the name appear on articles in the Racing Post. Whilst the standard has undoubtedly improved, it's still not great.

I have a copy of the Racing Post on my desk everyday I'm in work. I can't remember the last night I read it. It's a shite tipping paper with journalists with massively inflated egos. When was the last time they broke any racing story?

But they have Pricewise! :D Surely worth the cost of the paper?

Nailed on will be me starting out with good intentions of not buying a seven quid burger tomorrow but caving in by the champion hurdle to a rumbling stomach.(nap)

First "good thing" will be waking up at 7 and taking my time to do my usual journey to work, ie, three hours later than I usually do. En route to near where I work, I shall watch 'The Morning Line', read this great forum, exchange pleasantries, eat a massive ****-off fry up, visit Blly Hills and meet my mate in a pub on HORSEferry Road and watch the racing. I have tomorrow and Wednesday off, but will watch the racing tomorrow with a mate from work.
