Flaming Ebay Sellers!

I've bought a few odd things off ebay & have had no major problems, but last Tuesday I bought a video, paid by paypal so it was instant & even paid extra for 1st class recorded delivery, anyway they sent me a conformation email saying that they received payment & that the video would go out the following day (Wed) so I waited in on Thursday, nothing :( & I waited in on Friday, Nothing :angry: & I waited in on Saturday & still nothing :angy: so I sent them a polite email asking if they could confirm that they sent it on Wednesday, so far I have had no reply :angry: so I waited in again today, guess what? NOTHING! I have repeated the email I sent on Saturday this morning & you've guessed it nothing from that either :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: if they had said last week it won't be sent out until a later date it would not have been a problem but I've waited in now for days with no replys to emails!!

You do have a point Aldaniti. If you pay by Paypal, they are supposed to send out the goods within 3 working days. If you do not receive the goods within 7 days, use the ' item not received' form and that will usually get a reply.
 
Thanks I've just had a look at that & its now 10days so I have a bit of a wait yet :( I've looked at the feedback & its over 99%

Helen, I had a problem with someone paying for an antique wardrobe, and then not paying, and then denying they had even bid for it - when it was clear for everyone to see that he had. I had his address and he was based in Scotland. Luckily, Ebay allowed me to remarket the item free of charge and I sold it second time around for more money than the first time. It works both ways. Sometimes the sellers don't abide by the rules and some times it's buyers. For the most part, my transactions with Ebay have been very successful.
 
I've just had this email from them after sending them a slightly stroppy email!

"We had a bit of a mix up with your video you share the same surname with somebody else that purchased from us your video went to them I have now received it back this morning and re-sent it to you today via recorded delivery please accept my sincerest apologies and I hope this has not caused you to much inconvenience once again sorry for the mix up many thanks "

Fair enough about the mistake but it doesn't take much to email me & tell me of the delay surely! <_<
 
Sorry Kathy, I didn't mean it to sound like I was just having a go at sellers on there it was the situation in general ;)
 
Aldiniti, I didn't think you were for a min. Just giving the benefit of my experiences on Ebay as well... for what they are worth! B)
