Ancient Wisdom - 2nd 7/4f - revelled in testing conditions when winning the Group 1 Futurity Trophy last October and he just wasn't as effective on this sounder surface, for all that his rider said he handled it. He has the look of a proper 1m4f horse, one who will appreciate getting back on some slower ground, and he'd appeal more as an Irish Derby type than one for Epsom, unless of course the ground came up testing.
