Ancient Wisdom - 6th - was effectively the Appleby third-string, with Arabian Crown and the ill-fated Hidden Law not making it to the race. Drying ground at this unique course was never going to suit and he was unable to build on his so-so return in the Dante. Arisaig - WON 100/30 - , back down in class, found the gap open up against the often favoured stands' rail and fairly flew home while others faded. Things fell right here but she may develop into a useful type and will always have the option of fillies' only company.RP
