I heard an interview today on my local radio. The interview was with Peter Grant a singer who will be on TV tonight on the Davina show BBC1 7pm. I heard a couple of his songs, one was a swing version of the Kaiser Chiefs Modern Way. The other song was the classic Joanna. I thought his voice was brilliant .


Oh and he is only 18!
 
That was odd, Dims - I just got to your thread, and he was belting it out on Dav's show! By far the most talented person on it tonight - possibly any night?! What a really super voice, and so confidently-presented, too. I may well be tempted to buy his CD. I like swing, but Ole Blue Eyes sounded a bit rough round the edges during his latter years (yes, I know, Brian, heresy!), so it'll be great to have someone for this generation. Cute-looking, too, yes?
 
I love his voice, but his face doesn't match his voice... if you get my drift. :unsure:

You are right though, a real smoothie.....and I love this big band music if I am in the right mood. B)
 
Just watched him finish the show with "The Best is Yet To Come" Absolutely superb. Definitely the best British talent since Matt Munro in this field.
