Over the years I must have told myself 10 million times to stick to the game plan. For me, that boils down to: Do the work, be selective, don’t divert from my conclusions, but don’t back drifters or add to them when already on.
So to today. Quite a lot of racing and an equal amount of work distilling around fourteen possibles down to three. The plan was 3 small doubles and 3 singles taken separately:
Peking Rose 11/8 and added @ evens
Saint Palais 7/2 and added @ 2/1
Fern Hill 11/4
Good day then, right? Not a bit of it. Kept flicking about from race to race finding something attractive in those I’d discarded previously with the end result being underwater for the day.
So, I tell you yet again, Jon. If you don’t want to walk about with your arse hanging out of your trousers then STICK TO THE BLOODY GAME PLAN.
