Right, I'm kicking off with why I've been in a shite mood recently...

No, not continuous PMT, for the sexist among you but getting over my lap-top hard disk failure, having said machine sent off to two recovery labs to retrieve data and effectively finding that is all well-f*cked....

And this of course happens in month 12 of Payroll and Month 11 of my financial year and my last back-up was 25/01/05, because my cd drive is faulty and so I couldn't burn any back-up cds.

I should, of course, have taken laptop into H O and downloaded everything on to ne of the servers but didn't. Serves me right...

Hence why I shall be spending my Easter Break working catching up instead of dossing...

Working Easter Sunday and not receiving any kind of Bank Holiday benefit (I take my religion seriously if there's a day off to be had).

Still, I've got the Queen's birthday to look forward to on June 13th !! :P

In spite of antibiotics, I'm still not getting rid of the last of the 'flu - I'm keeping Andrex in profits (can't be arsed with tissues), and I feel half-knackered.

Can't keep up with the bombardment of paperwork from the Inland Revenue: Tax, NI contributions, and the Pensions Dept. The Tax read their own paperwork incorrectly and sent the forms back to me to 'correct' - costing me £7 to send them by taxi to the accountants who had prepared them (correctly) and return them. Dikkops! Will they write back to apologise? What do you think?

I am fed up with needing to do loads of things, and not feeling I've got the energy to do anything. (Lapses into complete self-pity, beats up pillows, and falls exhausted upon bed, pale and distinctly uninteresting.)

My accountants got my tax return wrong so i had to pay £240 extra including some interest ( that is coming off their bill ! ) .

I spent a day preparing a case only for the solicitor to ring and say it had settled the day before.
( all too common but I had loads of other things to do )

Then I get this fluey cold and end up wrapped up wasting too much time on here missing an important seminar I was going to chair as I have laryngitis

Feeling much better today though

Jesus Jules - sounds like you've got a lot on your plate at the moment, hope it's not too much of a nightmare to sort out.

As for being in a shite mood, well, happens so often now I'm getting used to it!! I'm abolutely shattered as I'm having to work overtime as without the extra wages I'd be unable to eat or pay rent....lovely.

Right now I'm very depressed, I'm stuck in the office doing the most pointless shift known to man as there is nothing whatsoever for me to do, I just have to sit here just in case I'm needed. Naturally it is a glorious day outside, sunbathing weather. I also had to sit for over an hour in a poxy border queue this morning to get back into Gib after riding - so much for the poxy Spanish banging on about how devout they are - bollocks! They're all queueing up in their cars to get into Gibraltar so they can fill their tank with cheap petrol & bring back as many cheap fags as the Guardia will allow then to take over - how's that for sodding piety?????!!!!!! Some of us still have to work & can't afford to sit in their hot, sun-baked cars for over an hour!!!!!! What's worse too is that I am going to take the stairs up five floors to the canteen as yesterday I got stuck in the lift for over half an hour between the 5th & 6th floors & I don't fancy getting stuck in there today with no-one around to get me out!! h:)

Aha......none of those nasty punters that reckon they'll get one over on us as no traders will be in are outta luck.....we have traders in 24/7..... ;)

Just for you,to keep you from being bored.

Blue Spanish eyes, tear drops are falling from your Spanish eyes
Please, please don't cry, this is just "adios" and not "goodbye"
Soon I'll return bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Sí, sí", say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

Blue Spanish eyes, prettiest eyes in all of Spainio
True Spanish eyes, please smile for me once more before I go
Soon I'll return bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Sí, sí", say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

You and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

Al Martino got very close to the top of the charts with the song a good few years ago.

Elvis may have done cover a version, but i am not sure,he did so many.

:)

ELVIS PRESLEY lyrics - "Spanish Eyes"

(B. Kaemfert - C. Singleton - E. Snyder)

Blue Spanish eyes teardrops are falling from your Spanish eyes
Please please don't cry, this is just adios and not good-bye
Soon I'll return, bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Si Si" say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

Soon I'll return, bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say "Si Si" say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

Al Martino made the song a hit but anyone who is anyone in the field of popular music has covered it. It was originally Italian rather than Spanish! Bert Kampfaert wrote it as "Moon Over Naples" but it was as "Spanish Eyes" that it achieved popularity. It's Kampfaert's second most popular composition. The first is "Strangers In The Night".

Dooby, dooby, doo...

Didn't think much of dooby doo in the film. Not a patch on the old seventies cartoon series.....By the way, ask Krizon for some antibiotics for that nasty cold.

"... dog, da mouze ran ub da clog, da clog strub one, ad dowd id run, higgory, diggory, dog."

Or, "Zip-a-tee, doo-dah, zip-a-tee-ay, wonderful feeling, coming my way!"

  Sorry 'bout that little burst on the banjo, folks! Norbal trabsmidgeon will be resubed ad soon as possiboo.
