surely camelot v frankel is the better match

whodya think would win?
 
I think Frankel vs Black Caviar over 7f round Goodwood would pretty much be equine perfection.

Frankel would have to run more than half a stone below his best for Camelot to have a chance really so I'd have to go for the former.
 
Both horses are entered for the Eclipse but unfortunately neither will turn up. Camelot will go to the Irish Derby for a walkover against a few of his stablemates and Frankel won't run as it looks like he will be aimed at the Sussex Stakes or the International.

The International would be a great race for them to meet and Frankel will probably run but I just can't see Camelot turning up for this. After the Irish Derby I think Coolmore will give him a break and then go for either the Irish Champion Stakes, a race that Frankel isn't even entered in or the St.Leger.

So really that only leaves the Champion Stakes at Ascot and even that is unlikely because Camelot would probably be aimed at the Arc instead. Virtually no chance that either will run in the Breeders Cup Classic.
 
People like Big Mac have spent months talking about a clash between Black Cavier and Frankel, yet when we have a real opportunity for a 10F clash like this they seem to want Camelot in the St Leger.

As coherent as fecking British weather are some people.
