Bit odd today that after a dearth of my trackers coming through seven should arrive today. Unfortunately they were opposing each other in several races so there was no bet.
One of them ended up in a titanic battle between my two in the 3:05 at Yarmouth. Title prevailed over Sea Karats in the end after a right old ding dong down the straight with the rest puffing along five or more lengths adrift. A good pair these two who I’m sure will make their mark in higher things. I didn’t bet, but the market told the story with Sea Karats drifting from 4/5 to 6/5 (still favourite) whilst Title strengthened from 3/1 early price to 15/8.
Given that I never back drifters and usually add as price strengthens I suppose I should have used the market to make the choice, but I never cherry pick when I’ve got more than one involved.
