surely whether kian's delight gets in or not will be dictated by how many above come out rather than whether or not indivudal horses at the top of the weights come out?
22 runners seems to be the max - which means 27 need to come out for Kian's to get in.
It's unlikely either way, correct Simmo. If the top horses stand their ground, trainers will be more/less likely to run their horses depending on what weight their horses will have. that was my point.
8th reserve at present in the quaint way Irish Racing works it out. Wont know till Tuesday 10 am by which time we will miss the boat. Guess we have a lot of telephoning to do. Do you think Mullins ( both of them ) will run theirs?
I'd say it looks unlikely KD will get a run at the moment Roddy. Can see both of the Mullins horses running, can see De Bromhead pulling BB out due to the ground and Pride Of The Artic is another who seemingly needs cut to show his best (whether the trainer will pull him out of the Plate is another matter).
JP has the ante-post favourite for this, normally goes with a safety in numbers attitude but with Carlingford Lough as ballot number five at the min there must be a chance that the likes of Like Your Style will be pulled out too which would aid your cause Roddy.
