Ten things we all love about Gearoid.

10. The last three letters in his name are the same as Hemerroid.
09. He is from Cork, but not married to his cousin.

07. His last name is the same as my favourite Corrie' character's first name.

Not one response to the Gearoid Appreciation Topic. Yet another example of the discrimination all too evident on this forum.

01. His tireless work to obtain equal rights for all on the forum.

Like another great activist, he too has a dream: that one day, he and An Cappal's daughter will walk hand in hand, and fulfill the true meaning of this forum's creed..

I think that despite all the progress made in equality, we are still generations away from An Capalls daughter and Gearoid even mixing in the same social circles....
 
2. When I set up our fantasy league for the footie I remember being quite impressed that Gearoid appeared to be his christian name.
 
Awesome. Irish people just have the best first names. Enda and Dara (the bloke off of Mock the Week) are two of my favourites.

See by coming to the forum Euro has learned something about Irish culture. In a similar way to the way certain inviduals believe that what we will do in life is already predetermined, I believe that we are brought to this forum for a single purpose.
