Hunting lives to fight another day...... :D :D :D

The Countryside Alliance have appealed to the courts over the impending ban, as everyone knows. They also applied for an injunction for the impending ban to be postponed until the appeal process has been heard, which the Government have announced they will not contest.

Hunting will carry on past February.... :D

If you look at the recent example of the play in Birmingham that closed down due to threats of violence and the difficulties in policing, I don't think this stance is particularly surprising.

I would not hold your breath Shadow Leader it might happen but Judges can be difficult . I for one cannot see that there are any good legal grounds at all for the grant of an injunction as the application is doomed to fail .

It is a discretionary remedy a judge may well refuse an injunction even if it is not opposed . I would expect that the League against Cruel Sports will apply to intervene and oppose the injunction.
