I'm with you on Urban Sprawl, Outsider. I like that they gelded him, there's every chance it'll bring about the 3 or 4lb improvement that he needs based on his best form.

Desperate Hero has turned into one hell of a good horse for Channon jnr. Could this be the male version of the late Highfield Princess? He was rated at low as 77 at the start of his 2023 campaign. He's now rated 104, having his best season ever, winning a couple of class 2 handicaps before placing against Makarova last time. He's versatile ground wise, having won on different goings, which I think could mark him out as being quite special. Yes, he's up against some big guns tomorrow, but he's bang in form, and whatever happens, I need him on my side for betting purposes.

I had Brioni in the first today, just touched off at a big price, and the Beckett horse Original Outlaw, just touched off by the stable mate. I finished the day wondering what an earth I need to do to back a horse who has its head in front at the finish line. Hopefully I can get one tomorrow.
