Go To First Unread Post

It seems to be there for me, Tom, on all unread posts. This one, for instance, has the small blue symbol.
 
Strange. I only get them if more than one page and I can't see anything in user options relating to it.

I think the idea is that you can scroll down one page with ease but the go to first unread helps if there is more than one page - the blue symbol of course is on the topics page not when you open the topic .
