Have had it in college for ages but the computers there block loads of things I want to download, finally got it in my house at home and its just brilliant. Downloading everything and anything......I live in the slow lane no more!

Best bit is being able to use the phone without logging off and then taking half an hour to log on again on dial up

Very true, DG. I've been with Telewest now for 18 months and have a free upgrade to 1meg with no download limit for the same price of £25 per month which is very reasonable I think.

I have Tiscali Broadband on my wireless laptop and my connection still disconnects when someone uses the phone  its bloody annoying. I'm sure something must be going wrong here!!

Any good sites for downloading films by the way, have been searching having just got broadband.....if not films, then episodes of television shows etc, I know they are out there and don't fancy paying

What's the quality like with those downloads?

Also, being with Wanadoo (ex-Freeserve) I keep noticing their ad for broadband for something like £17.99pm. Does anyone use this? Is it a good service?

It doesn't seem a whole lot more than I'm paying for Anytime.

I've downloaded a few films for FREE from Limewire that at the time were currently being shown in Cinemas!

I use the Wanadoo £17.99 package Maurice and its fine,u certainly soon see the difference from anytime.

Should be much faster on broadband - it does have a nasty habit of going-slow or going down altogether on a fairly regular basis though.
