... for the first time ever, I've just seen 'Overall Top Ten Posters' and am shocked and not a little embarrassed to see I'm the third most twittery on here, followed a wee bit down by our dear late friend Alan Morgan, holding a steady 8th! Well done, old pal - not a bad effort for someone no longer around to entertain us with his wit and enjoy his friendship. ;)

I see I'm not even on the leader board, demonstrating that at least one of the moderating team deals in quality, rather than quantity!!! :P

 B/j, what does that tell us about the decline of quality punting, eh? :D

Gosh, Ardross, yes, it is. I think anyone out and about racing on the date ought to raise one for our much-missed cheeky chappie. Jules - never in doubt, dearest, never in doubt! I take the scattergun approach in the hope that one out of a hundred works!

A cup of tea and a kit kat for sure!

I think he's the last UK based contributor to tip a winner on here too
He was right about Florida Pearl never staying up that hill though . :P

And the cheese and apple sandwich is genius ~ haven't had one since I was about twelve, and now realise that's probably where I've gone wrong. Back on the menu from next week. :D

Bless old " Bernard" how well he took the stock he got in the forum novel . :D

I even miss being called Arthur

Ah, look at that - our 'Moggie'! I looked through my old IJF calendars tonight for a few things, and noted the last time I saw Moggie Morgan was at Plumpton in the previous November when he attended with his charming bro Dave, who took our picture down at the railway entrance, where I was working. I've got a note 'take binocs for Alan' and I gave him a pair since he'd lost his somewhere. It was a really happy half hour or so with him and Dave, and while it's all too sad to think that's the last time I saw him, he's far from forgotten. I see some postings on here and think, "God, I wish Alanski was around to reply to that!" :D
