Aarrgh, tis all about the double muscling, m'dears....


Huh - if you though the BB bull to be big, let me tell you that there was a Charollais bull there that was simply humungous! It would have made Thomas the BB bull look small!


Anyway, thanks to Dims for the brill photos (as usual - we expect nothing less now!).


The first picture was our 15 month old heifer, Newpole AB FAB (she got Reserve Best Female). Next up is the infamous 28 month old TAMHORN WEE LASS, who came second and finally, NEWPOLE ASSET, who is 13 months.


All pedigree cattle names have to start with the a different letter of the alphabet according to the year - for BB's, 2005 was back to 'A' again (WEE LASS being a 2004 heifer), hence the names AB FAB and ASSET.


Other breeds do the same but Ruby Red Devons, for example are on, I think, 'F' this year.


Right - totally knackered - I'm off to bed!
