Good news for those of us who hold only a 50% stake in a horse or its equivalent in assorted horses: from January 1st 2010, the ROA's Owners' Badge Scheme will be permitting them the free entrance privilege currently extended only to owners of 100% of a horse or parts of horses. That's the basic announcement via e-mail from the ROA this week. It doesn't say whether courses will issue 'real' owners' badges or whether they'll just give OBS members 'a' badge for free entry, but presumably that'll be sorted out by January 1st by the RCA's management. (Oh, no, it won't... !)
