I've been using googlemail through IE ever since giving AOL the boot after 10yrs last summer & I do actually quite like it But! I keep getting info about googlemail running faster in google chrome, I have not gone anywhere near it yet as I am a bit of a technophobe (I'm past 30)

Anyway my internet connection which was supposed to be temp measure but has gone on longer than expected is three mobile broadband,

Does anyone know if its worth moving on to it or is it not worth bothering about?

You can import your bookmarks, just like you can with any other web service. Only thing I remember hearing about google chrome, is that it wasn't the most secure browser in the world, but that was last year and things may have changed since then.

I've been using it since pretty much day of release and wouldn't change it for anything else on Windows.

I can't fathom something!

I have download chrome & am now running igoogle, I've sorted gmail etc but I can't work out how to get "Favourites" on to the page

Any thoughts?

Click on the wrench icon in the top right and you can choose to show the bookmarks toolbar, or open the Bookmark manager. Is this what you mean?

I'm not sure Gareth!

On the old google browser you could choose to leave the favorites menu (links to bookmarked sites) permanently on the left hand side of the screen, it was so much quicker than clicking the wrench then opening imported favorites etc

If you mean Internet Explorer, than no, I don't think you can do that. In Chrome, if you turn the bookmarks toolbar on, there's an "Other Bookmarks" folder in the top right that you can use to go through your full set of Bookmarks.

I'm afraid that's about as far as I can help you, as I never use bookmarks myself.
