How many children have you got? More than three fair enough, three or fewer an MPV is not needed. I`m one of three and we managed to get into a Vauxhall Viva no trouble at all when i was a kid.Originally posted by Griffin@Nov 16 2006, 02:09 PM
The thing that bothers me most about this (even though it's unlikely to affect me as I don't drive in central London) is that MPVs will probably fall into this catagory. I don't own an MPV as a status symbol or for the sheer fun of it, I own one because it's the only car all of my children can safely travel in together. So he's penalising large families. That's not fair at all. It's hard, not to mention expensive enough, raising a family as it is without that added burden.

There would (to my mind) be very few MPV's that produce this much C02 - not many MPV's have 3 litre plus engines commonly found in the popular 4x4 models.Originally posted by Griffin@Nov 16 2006, 02:09 PM

This is more to do with ken's hatred of the typical 4x4 owner than any emmisions problem
