Two things.

Why can Twilight Eagle run in a handicap chase without haaving ever run in a chase?

Why is his rating due to go up 8lbs?

Any help appreciated.

Any horse is allowed to make its chasing debut in a handicap off its hurdle mark. It happens all the time.

The handicapper must have revised his assesment of the worth of Twilight Eagle's run at Exeter (ie upwards by 8lbs) after the 2nd (Junior) and 3rd (Giles Cross) both won this week. However, TE can run off the mark originally allocated until this kicks-in (probably on Monday).
