Went to see U2 in Manchester and they were absolutely amazing. Thanks again for the best wishes.
 
I'm very jealous, Dave!! I'd donate a limb to see U2 performing live....

Shame about the lack of winners, but hey, you're in good company as yesterday was much the same for me!! Besides, on a day that you saw U2 live it'd take a hell of a lot to make it a bad day!! Did you ever get rid of those REM tickets or are you still going in a few days? They're great live, Michael Stipe is simply amazing - he's dances around the stage like he's on acid!
 
Only got rid of the tickets yesterday! Was almost going to let my ears take a hammering twice in three days, but yes, U2 were well worth seeing, and I'll definitely be after tickets next time they tour.

Not long back from a couple of days away, Dave - too late to wish you a great time, since you've already had it, so have a super year ahead.

I saw your girlfriend Ellie two days ago, looking fat 'n' happy in a field in Somerset - if she doesn't get back in training soon, we can hire her out as a bouncy castle! :)

I missed this as have been away - missed Jon's visit to the nags too - and can confirm that Ellie is probably even bigger than the average bouncy castle....
