A very happy birthday to an icon for the sport. A true gentleman indeed.
Hard to believe he was in his forties when he was a commentator on the Arkle V Mill House days and early 50s with the likes of Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Brigadier Gerard , Alleged etc... golden years for racing.
