Just have to wish the old boy Quito a wonderful long and happy retirement. It was always a pleasure watching him race, you knew he'd always try and he was a model of consistency.

Just checked out his stats. 118 runs, 20 wins, 14 seconds, 10 thirds and £480,153 win and place prize money.

Happy retirement!

Yep happy retirement Quito, plus it would be cool if he does go to stud, we need more real horses at stud and less hyped one-season wonders!!

You can have him for fifteen grand Chris, but given that he's still carrying a rating of 100, I'm not sure where the value would lie.

Pointless bringing him back, he'll only regress and may pick up the odd claimer. Be much better letting him enjoy his retirement rather than flogging him on the all-weather for the sake of making a few quid.

Apparently he wasn't enjoying his retirement. A lot of horses don't esp when they've ben in training that long. Racehorses especially are creatures of habit!
