Perhaps his final trip to Cheltenham? Anyway connections confirm he will be aimed at the Stayers Hurdle rather than the Champion Hurdle. Right decision in my opinion.

I think so.

I believe the way he was raced in the Long Walk is totally inconclusive as to whether he stays or not. It just proves he is not suited to running like that. He should be up with the pace from the off, given a breather at some stage if the pace allows and then kick on. Maybe he won't stay, but it's worth taking the chance he will at current prices.

He should also race with his visor on this time. Something he did not have at Ascot.

Aitmatov looks like running in the Stayers Hurdle as well according to Noel Meade.

Could be a good test of Warbler's theory about non-stayers in long distance hurdles.

Remind me :D

Class horses in under class races surely. Did I say non-stayer? That's my ready made excuse; but otherwise it's an excellent test, even though he wouldn't have been my preferred standard bearer given that he has to defy no end of stats
