6f: Good to Firm
All other races:
From 1 Mile Start to Winning Post: Good to Soft, Soft in Places
From Winning Post to 1 Mile Start: Good.

It's supposed to be a Group One track yet they never give an accurate description. Remember Sakhee's Secret?
 
Haydock are far from being alone with this, Newmarket & Ascot are as bad.

time the first race or two if you are ever having a serious bet is my view on it...as long as its not in the first or 2nd race :p

I don't think they were that far out at that occasion if memory serves me right. They weren't accurate, but they weren't so far wrong that they were in Longchamp, Newcastle or Folkestone territory, and even a little bit nearer than they normally are. I'd say it was more like 30% Haydock and 70% Morrison on that occasion, but they are one of the more serial offenders
