Good to see her back in the training ranks with her first runner for 4 years or so at Ludlow today.

I didn't realise she'd taken her license back out.

Anyone know the story here? I seem to recall her horses and winners were dwindling over a three or four year period. Did she pack it in because we struggling to make ends meet? And if so why re-start now?
 
She's been training pointers for her daughter Annie (Annabel) to ride for the past few years. Annie had her first runner as a trainer a couple of weeks ago at Barbury Castle (What About Molly - 3rd in the Mares Maiden) and judged on Facebook updates Annie has been the driving force behind the return to the training ranks.

There'll certainly be worse 50/1 shots running today than Western Goose - I know that Jeremy (Graysonscolumn) was/is a big fan of Annie and I'll be having an interest in The Goose today.

She was planning on moving back to the West Midlands when the lease of her stable near Lambourn ended in 2009 and had sold her house in Berkshire , but the last-minute collapse of a deal to purchase a new yard there meant she had a rethink and decided to take time out whilst her daughter took exams in college in Shropshire.
 
Thanks for the update both. I presume she's still in Lambourn then all did she eventually make the move back?

She's listed as being in East Garston on the RP site which would be the next village to Lambourn but not sure if she moved back etc.
