Just a note from little ol me. Typing this from an internet cafe in Cork. Punchestown was great, if not a little hard work, especially running around in the La Touche chasing Spotthedifference around!
The weather is great and we have loads more to do before returning to the UK at the w/e. I hope you are all behaving yerselfs!!!!

I think Muttley is with Diminuendo.

Diminuendo, leave UG to me. He had been heading for a slap for sometime. :dork: :)

Come back! Come back! We want photos!

Envy you two, really must get to Punchestown sometime. Love Ireland anyway, and as you say so much to do there ..... did you see any flat racing ?

We found a few bogs, alright ... :D

Hmm. Flat racing. Could someone remind me exactly what that is, please ..... ???

Anyway, yes, we've certainly enjoyed ourselves - Trudi, sorry we couldn't fit you in the suitcases - Milligan for the La Touche (ridden by yerself, of course!) next year!!

Dims has taken more pics than a Japanese tourist

... well, that should put paid to him being able to perform afterwards... :brows:

Troods - time for a doggie update, please. How's poochy?

Shes ok thanks KRi - very sheepish (explains the need for the vet then - boom boom!!) that she made me miss the races Sat - shes been wobbly behind for a while now ( but she is nearly 11 bless her) and shes had a couple of times where she loses all use of her back end for about half an hour - she had a bad episode Sat morning, and they couldnt give me an appointment tilll lunchtime,so I spent Sat there instead f taunting Dom with the afore mentioned voddie!
God knows why shes like it though - all we can think is that she somehow sends the nerves to sleep when she sleeps on the floor. Probably one of those things that we'll nbever get a proper answer to, but heigh ho!!

Don't talk to me about wobbly behinds! Well, glad to hear it's not life-threatening stuff, but it is worrying all the same. Yes, sounds like a nerve pathway goes dead for a while - I wonder if she has any bone spurs which might be pressing on one, and blocking the 'legs - move' message? I have spurs in the lower spine and when they're in a playful mood, I can scuttle off sideways for a bit until they settle down. "I'm serpectly sofer, ossifer... " 11's a good old age for any bow-wow to get to, and I hope she manages a few more.

For anyone interested, Diminuendo's photos are now in the photo section of this forum - and there are (as usual) some right crackers!!!
