Hi - I recently reread one of my favourite memoirs 'On Another Mans wound' by Ernie O Malley.

Does anybody know if this has an aletrnative source please...I thought I had heard it in some other context.
 
On Another Man's Wound takes its title from an Ulster proverb, "It's easy to sleep on another man's wound)" according to a google
