Is Halcon Genelardais being aimed at this or is Gungadu the likely top weight? Despite the good record of second season chasers I really like Character Building if he can get in the handicap proper. Big Bucks is sure to be overbet and I prefer Air Force One as a potential second choice.

I owuld like to know the answer to the original question. Given a wet week or two, Halcon would defintaely interest me even off this mark. Hes still not been raced extensively and i can see him cutting through a field which is likely to have at least a couple of front runners cutting it out

I've backed Verasi (at 150) in the hope that it's absolutely bottomless.

He would get a feather-weight, and 3m2f in the mud is exactly what he's after - he just needs to get in the race, and for the rain to come.
