I have watched this film three times and I think it is simply outstanding.


The sound track band is fantastic.And the director and main actors are also very good.

I've only seen a few exerpts but it looks like pretentious claptrap to me. Hasty judgment, perhaps.

Interestingly (yawn), there was mention of the 'crouching tiger' painted on a Chinese vase (on the Antiques Roadshow tonight) as representing the Westerner.
