As previously mentioned in an earlier thread. I have previously had two blogs. The first, I was paying too much for and so I switched over to a free site. My blog was called awhorseracing.jimdofree.com/blog/ It was totally free, but all to time consuming.
One of the main reason for the blog was to test my approach and more importantly my discipline.
For every race that I analysed and found a selection(s) I would write up the reasoning for me decision and specify the type of bet that I had placed including the odds. It was extremely important to me that my money was riding on my selections and if necessary I could have proved it.
The blog ran from May 2019 through to December 2020 and the running P&L was actually 288.95 points profit
I stopped the blog as I was heavily stressed at work with far too many plates spinning and I was on my third chest infection in the matter of months. Something had to give and initially it was my health and then some online abuse made me decide it just wasn’t worth my time and effort. I had proven to myself that I could make it profitable by staying disciplined and following the process.
As you will see from the results listed below, I didn't make a profit every month but I certainly made a profit most months. You simply can't win in every race that you are betting in. The profits were boosted by some forecast bets winning but the general trend was simply to try to identify profitable bets.
The P/L is based on a level 1pt stake
