I know there a couple of people that like the show on here.

Well Kate Ritchie (whom plays Sally Fletcher) announced on Tuesday morning after a lot of speculation that she will now be leaving the show for good.

Ritchie remains one of only two original cast members on the show from the day it began, which will celebrate its 20th year in March of 2008. The other of course being Ray Meagher's character of "Alf Stewart."

Since the beginning of this year, she has started to branch out into new fields including hosting alongside popular Australian tv presenter, Grant Denyer, "It Takes Two." Her efforts on Home & Away finally saw her achieve Australia's most coveted award for the tv industry, the Gold Logie. Its believed after having won this, which was the feather in her cap, that she decided to contemplate leaving the show.

Ritchie wants to now focus on a career in presenting.
 
GA m'dear, you're rather fond of using the word 'whom' aren't you? Hate to break it to you but you tend to use it in the wrong context, nearly always in fact! Apologies for nitpicking, it's starting to stand out quite a bit!
 
Good old Kate Richie, whom for all her years as Sally, will be famous for having her own sex tape ala Paris Hilton.....
 
Sadler's Wells retires, Storm Cat retires, Henin retires...and Sally left Home & Away today! What a week...
