Honest Tom?

Ah, there ye be! Hallo, HT, old bean. Thank you for that - it's very nice to be back, into what seems to be a well-mannered oasis of rationale and calm. (She says, without a hint of irony, either.)

(Pleased to see your signature hasn't changed!) :-))

Testing

I'm just testing to see if any smileys will work for me, or any of the edit functions!

Oh, the edit functions work fine on 'Go Advanced', but still no smileys - how queer.

Hallo, hallo, loveliest taxman in the whole wide world! :-)) It's very good to return to the fold now that it's so nice and peaceful, you could hear a grenade drop. Lovely to see all the old, familiar names, although still lacking BrianH, I think. (He is alive, 'cos he sends rude e-mails every now and then!) I hope you're fit and well.

Hello Kri & Dan. I miss the old crowd especially the dear departed Al who I used to have a great laugh with. These days Imost of my forum time is taken up swatting traders on the betfair forum.

Strange, this thread does not want to fit on my screen. This normally happens when there is a strange sized photo on the thread, but there are none on here.

I wish BrianH would come back. As you say nearly what it used to be like on here with the one exception. Kri - its your honour bound duty to summonse Lord H back into the fold and away from all those terminal cruises!

Oh, God, how bad can it be - Brian's cruising terminals now? I figured when he shuffled towards me outside Charing Cross Station, muttering "Spare us a million, sweedart, spare us a mill... " that things may have hit a bit of a low. Poor old boy - I'll get onto him right away, jinny!

Which Honest Tom is this?

My favorite Tom was the one who made the kids wet themselves out of fear when his £600 @ 14 was matched for £23 and it bolted up with an SP of 16/1....

First Take That did it, more recently Spandau Ballet but surely The E. Dead Group reforming is the biggest come back ever.

I heard that the E.Dead Group refused to take a lie detector test - so you can't believe a word that comes from them .
