Horse Racing "systems"

Just a quick straw poll. I have long been interested in so called horse racing systems and whether or not it is actually possible to find one that makes money in the long-term. My feeling is that it is not...i've never tried one or seen any evidence of a system that can make a long-term profit.

Has anyone every found this "holy grail" and if not do you believe it's possible?
 
Limit yourself to 1M+ maiden races on the flat and 2M novice hdles . 15 runners or more and back the fav . if evs > 11/10. Average of 20 bets a year. 85% win ratio.
