Dawn Run has to be my all time fav. I was there when she won both her Champion Hurdle and again the Gold Cup....the most amazing atmosphere I’ve ever witnessed on a racecourse. It was pretty decent opposition too and she’s still the only horse to have done the double. I wept buckets when I heard she’d been killed.
