Those of you who remember The Silver Brumby and My Friend Flicka stories or who read those books by the likes of the Pullein-Thompson sisters and Patricia Leitch might be interested in this modern day version:

Pony book

Can you imagine working for a publisher who produces vomit like that
 
Well I'd buy it for daughter number 2 Molly who is aged 8 and pony mad. She'd love that!

And as for Katie Price, I think she's a very good mother and businesswoman.
 
I loved the Flika series when I was a kid - but they weren't sentimental at all
I was never into cuddly toys or 'My Little Pony' type stuff, even when very young
That offering looks altogether too pink for my taste! But yes, I agree our Katie has her head screwed on OK, and good luck to her
