I just happened to be flicking through topics on another racing forum when I got the de ja vu feeling! lots of the topics seem to mirror topics from here, word for word in some cases <_< & guess what they are all by the same poster ;)
 
I don't visit any other racing forums so it doesn't bother me. Just think, if they didn't post them here I wouldn't get to read them.

You've got it the wrong way round! its posted on here first then the other forum ;) :lol:
 
I only use Neigh, and do occasionally scissor and paste my own work, to save time. Any one familiar with my drivel would have little difficulty spotting me, and although I use different user names, the letter J would indicate I'm not the offender. I think I've occasionally borrowed other peoples ideas when I feel they've articulated it better than me, but only after having PM'd them for permission, and again I'd always acknowledge that it wasn't mine.

I don't actually see any problem with it though. It's only naughty if you're lifting other peoples work/ opinion and trying to pass it off as your own. Doing that though, is pretty foolish as you're almost certainly going to get caught out. The same applies to journalists articles, if I've reproduced an idea of someone's which I've found to be a worthy observation then I'll credit thus, as if I've read it, then its certain that one of our 600 or so members will have too.

I don't have any problem with taking other peoples ideas and adopting them though. Surely that's what we read for? If I'm persuaded by someones advocacy of a position, then I'll happily adopt it. I think the practice of putting up the same posting verbatim is reasonably widespread and doesn't cause any difficulty. Surely its when you post up a different and contradictory opinion that we need to worry ;)

Please let us know as she is banned from posting here but her membership has not been terminated for other reasons that I don't want to divulge.
 
I'd be very surprised if it isn't as she can't help herself but nick other peoples stuff and claim it as her own.

Yes it is, but its not on those forums, below is a link to the one I was reading, rather interestingly certain topics have been deleted or cropped since yesterday <_< I wonder why :lol:
