Very possibly - I guess I was just clarifying my own exact take on the subject.

That horse was always a lousy jumper of hurdles in my book, but he was so good he still managed to win a Triumph despite flattening every other flight and reached an OR of circa 160.

Watching him win by the length of Ascot High Street back on the level was my highlight of that particular Royal meeting.
